To this end, we are looking for an Interior Designer. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Interior Designer creates sketches and technical drawings of interior or exterior spaces to be fitted out, based on budgets and collaborators' requests. The designer creates and implements aesthetic, functional and safe interior design concepts.

Your responsibilities

  • Question and consult employees to fully understand their needs, preferences and requirements;
  • Participate in meetings with various collaborators;
  • Collaborate in the artistic direction of all projects;
  • Evaluate the feasibility of projects;
  • Prepare plans and details for the execution of the development, from design to delivery of projects;
  • Search for technical solutions while respecting budgets, constraints and standards where applicable;
  • Creation of Sketch up renderings for different areas of the site;
  • Supervision of zone assembly;
  • Evaluate the costs and materials required;
  • Materials selection;
  • Respect the graphic standards of the organization;
  • Comply with applicable building design and construction codes, standards, regulations and guidelines where applicable;
  • Adhere to the organization's health and safety program;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • College diploma or degree in interior design or university studies in interior design or environmental design;
  • Good command of Autocad and Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator;
  • Great listening skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Demonstrate creativity and rigor;
  • Have a good sense of observation and aesthetics;
  • Be well organized;
  • Knowledge of the building code and standards in force.
  • Solution-oriented;
  • Ability to adapt to change;
  • Know how to work in a team;
  • Be organized;
  • Must be able to work in an open environment;
  • Good physical condition.

Salary

Between $20 and $21 an hour

Duration

Temporary position from March to the end of August 2024. The number of hours will vary according to need. However, from June to August it's a full-time 37.5h per week.
