Marketing Communications Intern

We use it in every sphere of our work, whether it's finding solutions, adjusting our approaches or delivering one of the most important festivals in Quebec. To this end, we're looking for a Marketing Communications Officer to work with us on the ideation and production of the wonder that sets us apart. Mandate: Reporting to the Marketing Director, the intern will participate in the planning, execution and analysis of a marketing and communications plan for the International Balloon Festival, using a creative and dynamic approach. He/she contributes to the implementation of innovative strategies.

Your responsibilities

Participate in

  • Development of marketing communication strategies to increase festival awareness and attendance, and boost ticket, passport and package sales;
  • Identification and analysis of marketing needs to promote activities and artists in the program. 
  • Performance analysis of communications and sales tools
  • Ongoing monitoring and analysis of KPIs (key performance indicators)
  • Implant tracking pixel
  • Search engine optimization (SEO/SEM)
  • Sales statistics (demographic data)
  • Data analysis via GA4, GTM, etc.
  • Development of online and field promotional store (production of promotional materials and objects, marketing strategy and inventory management)
  • Digital marketing strategy
  • Community involvement
  • Message personalization 


  • Excellent written and spoken French ;
  • Proficiency in Office suite and Google Workspace 
  • Knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) ;
  • Knowledge of Canva is an asset ;
  • Bilingual with writing skills, an asset;


  • Professional, efficient, committed with an energizing attitude;

  • A high degree of autonomy with a sense of organization and tight follow-through;
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills;
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork;

  • Knowledge of tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mailchimp, an asset;
  • Analytical and synthesizing skills.

Previous experience

  • Any relevant experience in community management, communications or marketing.
