With 19 years' experience as a driver, Sébastien has taken part in 18 editions of the festival, and has driven in Canada (Alberta, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick), the United States, Spain, Argentina and France. He won the Canadian Champion title in 2022 and 2nd place in 2024, while setting a distance and time record in the AX-07 category. Among his many achievements, he crossed the Andes at 200 km/h in a hot-air balloon. A few anecdotes: 1) he once had to exit a field in a rowboat, 2) a farmer welcomed him wearing only a t-shirt, 3) he had a marriage proposal turned down in flight! His passion comes from his earliest years: "I must have it in my genes somewhere."
