Hailing from the USA, Joel has over 25 years' experience as a pilot and has taken part in more than 10 editions of the festival. He has flown in the USA, Canada, Mexico and New Zealand. His passion for hot-air ballooning stems from his family heritage: as a second-generation balloon pilot, he has loved this discipline since childhood.
