A hot-air balloon pilot with two years' experience, he made his first visit to Saint-Jean in 1997 and has been a volunteer since 2016. He has had the opportunity to fly in Canada, the United States, Austria and Slovenia. He has won three awards for his contributions to competition and support of ballooning events. He was also three times assistant director of the Canadian championship in Saint-Jean. An anecdote: he has only flown in Saint-Jean twice. His passion for hot-air ballooning grew out of his annual visits to the Gatineau Balloon Festival during his childhood.
